ABOUT ME

 

James Walker is a multi-instrumentalist & singer-songwriter from Reading, UK.

​

Having spent the last five years as a session musician, he has focussed these last few months on creating a project of his own. 

​

With extensive tours across Europe and America, thanks to the help of friends he'd met along the way, James released his debut EP 'Modern Medicine' to an audience of captive ears.

​

James cites his influences as Damien Rice, Kevin Devine, Brand New and William Fitzimmons.

​

Inspired by his battles through two open heart surgeries, his debut EP ‘Modern Medicine’ (produced by Sam Winfield - Amber Run, Supergrass) is out now on Wild Native records.
